Default Crower 62404 - about where do gains begin on a B20?

Crower currently has this cam on sale pretty cheap - $355. I know this cam is pretty popular. So I was considering buying it. But does it just completely kill low end/midrange? Adn about where does power output with this cam start to equal/exceed stock? I plan to use this cam on a stock compression (9.6:1) B20Z.

dont bother on stock compression 404s love compression you want arleas 11.5-1 or higher static compression to work well with 404s you might want to try 403s

i just ordered those cams and i know i need to raise the compression cause i dont want to compromise my low end. even though these cams will add some low end. ahhh research.

I have heard of people using 404s with stock compression with 'good results'. But then again, I don't know what this means. I don't know, for instance, if this means good top end power, but low end/midrange takes a crap.

Do a search on StyleTeg. He had 404's on a stock bottom end, with a .030" mill and put down 160 whp! So with that .030" mill, was would have been at 9.8:1 Sttic compression.
