Default Another Turbo'd Sohc (56k go home)

Well, after planning on it for a good while and slowly accumulating the kit peice by peice, i have finally turbo'd my car. Its a junkyard turbo kit based around a 42/48 T3. I dont know what to say, and pics are cooler than words, so here ya go:
Ready for all Questions, Comments or Flaming(you will get cussed at)

The N/A setup:

Turbo setup:
Downpipe (custom fabbed by 90BlackCrx) bolted up to Turbo

My friend Drew (CrxDrew) Cuttin **** for clearance

The radiator bracket made to fit my EG radiator.

Drew's failed attempt to weld to aluminum

Engine shots:

Bov Jb Welded to the pipe, holds strong

Downpipe bolted up and on the car, good amount of clearace

Frontal shots:

Arial view of the radiator and intercooler, both gangsta leaned.

I didnt have a gasket, so we fabbed one up out of sheet metal for now.

And thats about it for now. It was definately well worth it, spools up nicely and doesnt burn any oil. Still got a few kinks to work out but, all and all i'm satisfied. Thanks for lookin

Theres no internals as of yet. I had a delta 272 cam before, but it caused a bunch of idle issues, so i pulled it off b4 installing the kit so i'd be able to know if everything was workin out alright. I've got another a6 that i am plannin to build up and drop in sometime in the near future.
Fuel management is TurboEdit chipped pm6 ecu and DSM 450's.

Thanks all. Yea I'll be at the meet. If it doesnt blow up again....
I had first boosted it Monday evening, and the next day, while driving, the radiator cracked and it overheated and blew the headgasket. So got it back up and running thursday with a new radiator and the stock cam and shes as u see her now. I'm lovin it.

Nice thread title... real original .

Don't rag on the IC welding lol. I said it probably wasn't gonna work neway.

That pic of the radiator bracket just won't do it justice. Haha...

Brandon- "**** this radiator won't sit right"
Drew- *already pounding away at some metal*
Brandon- "wtf?"
Drew *welding and admiring"

Good job stupid. I should be allowed to paint my image on the side of ur car considering the time put in.

Glad you took care of him , I was gonna fix the radiator the second time he came back, I could not stand it hovering in the air.
