Default Need Help Installing Hasport mounts (B Series into Crx)

I purchased a set of Hasport mounts to replace my HCP mounts. I wanted my engine to sit Higher up so I dont bang up my header and Oil pan. I installed the Hasport mounts today with no real problems except when tried to close the Hood.
The hood and valve cover hits more so on the drivers side but the hood does close theres just a big gap on the drivers side.
I am wondering if anybodys had this problem? and how did you fix it?
I am planning to cut out the reinforcement under the hood and maybe place some washers on the drivers side between the mount and the bracket and also on the passenger side mount between the tranny and the mount.
Let me know if anyone has got some good ideas out there

is it maybe your clutch cable or throttle cable ??? i know my hasport mounts put the motor very close to the hood as where if i have the clutch cable routed on top of the valve cover its chaffes the **** out of it... plus that would be the drivers side...

Mine did that, but I don't have hasport mounts. The hood hit right at the front of the cam cover. It would shut but sat uneven. My fix, took the hood off, eyeballed the spot, and cut out the reinforcement in that spot to clear the motor, shut perfect after that

I have the efb1 kit. I checked all the things you guys mentioned and it was the valve cover cam cover so I cut the hood reinforcement, it still hits the hood a little but it will do. Thanks for the input

is it a GSR ? they always hit the hood unless you cut out the reinforcement or get a SIR style hood

yup i have the same mounts and my hood rubs. not that big of deal but yeah hood is lil uneven.

"maybe place some washers on the drivers side between the mount and the bracket"

the point was to make ur engine higher right? wouldnt this defeat the purpose you did spend 3 to 400 dollars on the kit right
