im trying to post some vids right know the motor is friggen sick the motor has less than 500 miles on it and its about 3years old . perfectly maintained changed the oil and spark pluggs after every event that i went to. hardley ran the car do to work, time and the wife.
500 miles?? Daaaamn..
hopefully it will be done in time so you can enjoy driving her while the weather is still nice. Btw, you're lucky to have all that room to work on your cars

yeah your right and if anything were to happen i would rebuild running 12.2 i think my build is smart enough.
if it isnt broke dont fix it

Ive only got in 13s. Amazing that setup is good for 12.2. I guess with a really light car and slicks its possible. Did you have your intake manifold ported too? can you go into details. Tnx.
yes everything was ported and match ported. i think thats why i am building a entirely STREET driven rex. i want to show fools out there that with full int... i will still hit the amazing times that i am now. i have visions of possibly hitting the low 11's or even high 10's pm me if you need more details on thew set up.. and who to go to and who NOT to go to. they are alot of jake off shops and people out there. but everyone has there own expeirence.
my friend just blew his motor in 3rd gear running a stock b20 block with a fully built head... he was running skunk stage 2 cams... stock b20 blocks with big cams are pretty dangerous .. just giving a heads up ..
THANKS FOR THE INFO I HAVE HAD MY SET UP FOR 3YEARS AND IM ALLWAYS CHECKING MY SET UP (VALVES,COMPRESSION ETC... I PLAN ON FULLY BUILDING THE BOTTOM END PRETTY SOON. 12-1 COMPRESSION,RODS BALANCE,BLUEPRINT, POLISHED CRANK ETC... BUT THANKS FOR THE INFO
From your own experience, how hard was it to do everything considering it was your first time? Did you also build the motor yourself? Did you get any help from other people around your area with more experience? I plan on doing the same as you also, crx with ls/v. How did you get your motor in the car? Engine hoist or did you just mount the block on the car and then just build on it?

It's very possible, I have a friend who hit a 12.6 with much less power.
