Default rust on flywheel

i have an act flywheel with a lil bit of rust on it, is it okay for my to slap it on or should i have the flywheel resurfaced? thanks for the thelp

Hit it with some wd-40 and scotch brite and see if it just wipes off.. If its pitted you should resurface,

Use brake cleaner after you clean it... you don't want any oily residue on the flywheel surface.
