91 civic four door lx, door locks inop HELP!!!!

Default 91 civic four door lx, door locks inop HELP!!!!

at the title states i have a four door civic 91 and my power door locks are not working...checked all fuses and are ok, did notice that on driver door there is a door lock module, when i hit the lock or unlock button i hear a solenoid click inside module but nothing happens....could this be the problem?...can i override this....what can i do?...any suggestions?...

check ur connections. i did have to resolder some of the relays in the module to fix my locking problem.

Test for proper voltages at the connector that goes to the malfunctioning door lock.
If it doesn't check out, then work backwards in the circuit until you find the faulty part/wire.

It they check out ok, but they still don't work, then try hard wiring the door lock and see if it's actually functioning.

i know its not a honda but i had this problem with my sentra.

the problem was simple, one of the latches wasnt closing propally and thus the system would try and close then reopen. it was my trunk latch which was stopping mine from closing - check ur latches

I had a 92 lx with the same problem. Traced it to the connector at the drivers door jamb. One of the wires going through the plug had melted the connector and seperated. Good luck.

Also, they tend to work when it's hot outside i.e. above 90. Any other ideas?

sounds to me like the classic main relay problem only it's your module.
