d16y8 knock sensor

where is it exactly on the block? i heard its above the oil filter , and all i see is this one prong sensor , what is that?

It should be above the oil filter between cylinders 2 and 3. On a y8 it'll be a blue sensor with one prong in the center.

Yes, the ks is 1 prong
