I am really impressed on Brent L's set up for which will hopfully debut in a month or 2. I would have to give my vote to Brent.
yea, Brent L's set up is sweet too, haven't seen him post on here in a while which hopefully means he's busy finishing up the car, i think he was trying to debut the car at the nhra event in denver.

It would be great to see Kenny do it as he has certainly worked long and hard for it but I would not bet against Fabman and Levon's car.
BTW, as a teaser, Fabman is building a motor with some technology that no one else is using. If it works, it could very possibly change the way engines are designed/built and the amount of boost that can be run.

I want to say Jerrold Rhodes because that car ran 8.1 or 8.0 on its last few passes. So depending on his motor upgrade and driving skills...he shouldn't have a problem w/ 7's. I still remember when Steph raced Hartford in San Anonio w/ that second head start.
All the hot rod hondas or no where near 8.0.
Its kind of hard to say. but for those building a PRO FWD car should be in the 7's when they come out because the 2 other cars run them consistantly. and Bergonholtz will surely run in the 7's consistantly soon.
Its going to be hard to compete with the Saturn and Ladwig.

Kenny's had a long time to do it already. I think he'll get there but he won't be the first. Laskey's set up has a ton of potential and Mike is a great driver but he willl have a big learning curve ahead of him w/ the new combination so its not likely that he will be the first. Chuck is definitly the best driver out of the group. If they can combine that xtrac w/ some more power than he is my favorite. Steph's old car would be in the 7's by now if Steph still drove it. I don't think Jerrold Rhodes will get it there.
Didn't Kenny run a .29 or something recently. He has been consistently in the .30s...but that is a LONG way from a 7.99
I would say he is the closest by a long shot and is steadily improving. All those new cars are going to have some growing pains.
All the Hondas are still running 158-170mph. It seems like Kenny is the only one making the power to go 180.
