Need help with welding DP
hey what's up H-Ters..... well i use oxy-acetelene to braze copper lines at work ( im a hvac service technician ) I'm soon going to start my turbo project....and i need to do some welding with the down pipe....my ? is what kind of rod do i use with an oxy-acetelene setup. and what kind of flame do i want.....
Can't help you with the rod
But for the flame, you want a bright blue flame and you want to get a puddle going, gas welding like that takes some control.

As for flame, adjust to neutral, and go from there. </TD></TR></TABLE> when using this er70-s2 rod is it the same thing as brazing with the brazing rod....pretty much just get the metal cherry red and then apply the er70-s2....
