Default b16 ls transexual..oops

i have a b16a sir II (2) and have the hydro tranny for it.

Now before i go on, let me just say my funds are limited so, yeah!

can i put in a ls tranny with the b16? i have a b18a1 on my yard with that tranny.

and can i use the same b series motor mounts for it as well.?

Thanks alot, and peace out my homies.

You can use the LS tranny, but performance wise it won't be the best. What kind of car are you swapping the motor into?

yes the LS will work, but the gear ratios aren't as close as the B16A.

you can sell the hydro trans and pick up a cable B16a trans also.

Let me know if you want to sell the B16A hydro trans, I am looking for one and am in the L.A. area.

You will hate that LS tranny, don't do it cause you will want to replace it and it will end up costing you more in the longrun.

mmm, yeah. im just going to sell the hydro tranny, buy a cable tranny, and maybe get a racing clutch...which will be pointless, since i dont like racing...

Yes, get the racing clutch, then it will be much faster, make sure its a stage 6 or 7
