but i don't think they have the intake in carbon fiber for integras, just fiberglass.

and the carbon fiber one is like well over 1500$ anyways, why in your right mind would you even consider spending that much on an intake??

lol So you buy parts just for the brand names? if i had an intake that performed better and was 1/2 the price would you buy it? or spend the extra and get the brand name MUGEN?

i dont know why you would want to spend that much $ on an intake, which would yield minimal gains at best. with that much money, you would be almost halfway to a turbo setup.

what an idiot. lets pay 1200 for an INTAKE when you could buy a aem for 230 an exhaust and a header for the same price as just the intake. which for that money you can have a whole lot more performance than just the intake. i swear ur about the biggest tard.

hey if you got the money to spent, go for it.
just be careful on letting people know what you have. the more mugen you have the more of a target you become.
good luck with your project.
let us know how it turns out.

Before calling people tards, don't you think you should ask them what their goals with their cars are? If he was going for performance, then yes, he's making the wrong choice, but what if he's going to make a mugen show car? He said he wanted it to be mugen out, nowhere does it ask in his posts how the intake will perform.

to you

No, to you times a million. If he was building a showcar he could chrome any old intake and make it look like a million bucks, or even have it carbon fibre wrapped.

i haven't been on honda tech for that long but one thing i've noticed is that there are quite a few idiots on this board. they are harsh bandwagon jumpers. seriously if some guy with an ITR that posted a shot of their engine bay and all you see is mugen intake, mugen header, arc cooling plate, spoon bars, jdm this and jdm that, you'd all be wetting your pants and saying its so jdm tyte y0!

if you are going to rag on someone spending 1000 dollars on an intake, do you also rag on those who can afford to wear a 1000 jacket from versace?

let him buy what he wants.

Dont assume that I would be wetting my pants, and just because being harsh means being true, doesnt make me feel bad in the least. If people let others buy what they want, then theoretically terrorists would be able to buy nuclear weapons from any country in the world. I figured since you were going to compare an intake to something totally irrelevant (like a versace jacket perhaps), I would do the same.

how is that irrelevant? its a perfect analogy. why buy a versace jacket when you can buy a "brand-x" for 20% of the cost. it's still a jacket that will do exactly the same as a versace. besides...the intake is only $680

Okay, there is nothing wrong with buying the highest quality parts. Mugen is higher quality than AEM, and higher quality than any eBay garbage. Its up to him if its worth it. Some people really value their cars that way.

That being said, this guy sounds like he just wants to be able to say he has Mugen on his car, and list it in his sig. He sounds like a dork, has mugenspoongsr as his username, and doesnt even know **** about it. Doesnt know even where to buy it.

So to him, I give . But to someone giving their car the best, I give
