MPFI conversion is the first thing you need to do, then an Si tranny... after those things are done, worry about bolt ons.

12 here

BEST ADVICE would be get rid of your intake pipe and take off the top of the plastic box that says dpfi. You will see a little mesh so you will be safe(). Oh and take off your back seats and pass seat for sure, get rid of your spare, jack and any other things you might have laying around.

This is my first time at draggin so.... of course im gonna suck! I havn't been able to do anything to my car as i am low on funds... i wanna do an intake, and MPFI swap but havn't been able to find the parts! the slips they gave me don't tell me how long it took me to get to 0-60 tho... and it don't help that i only have a 4 spd...oh well... speed ain't gonna count toma as it is bracket racing... just gotta shift nice and steady.... thanks for the advice!

the easiest and quickest thing to do, get a dx computer, and a dx or better camshaft

put them in and take out the intake restrictors.

if its only bracket racing, and your not looking to go killer fast.... dont bother spending any money on that motor, learn to drive it as consistant as you can, and you will win... its always a laugh to see a 85 auto crx win an event because it runs the same times over and over and over... yes reaaaal slow times...

theres nothing you can do to really make that STD faster, i had one 3-4 yrs ago and it ran in the 19s too, and modding that motor is useless.

Thats the 0-60 for my 2001 pontiac sunfire.

If no one ever believed me before, then they need to believe me now that the car is a piece of ****. Maybe I just expected a little more out of a car made 4 years ago.
