ITR vs GSR Distributor
I noticed that the part numbers are different for the ITR and GSR distributors, although both use TC-08A... even the ignitor part numbers differ.
Is the ITR distributor a higher output distributor? It's not a fitment issue, as far as I know...

I am not sure about the out put beign different
But I do know that alot of the GSR and Si guys use the Type R cap and rotors to try and improve performance
who knows if it works?

it's lighter weight, just like the windshields on CW ITRs.
edit, no it's not true, I was just joking lol...

Is this true? I recently read that the JDM ITRs came with different UPPER control arms in the rear...

I just looked up the part numbers, the cap & rotors are the same part numbers between the GSR and ITR, but the rotor screw is a different part number! lol, maybe that's where the power lies

I've been having dizzy problems from I don't know how long and so far this is what I've found out from personal experience
BTW I have a 97 jdm itr motor
94-97 GSR Dizzy caps and ignitors have different part #'s then the 98-01's GSR's and ITR's
The rotors are the same for 99/00 Si's, 94-01 gsr's and ALL itr's
I couldn't tell you about the weight difference between the 2 Dizzy's but i wouldn't doubt it

GSR caps and GSR rotors (for the cap and rotor) are the same as ITR. no different.
the spark plug WIRES are different though (GSR's are more expensive I don't know why)
-aoib0t, who needs a screw for his rotor.

When I bought a cap & rotor from the dealer, it came with the rotor screw... so if you need a minor tune-up anyway, you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
