Left Rear wheel, after drop -

Check the mudflap on that last pic...I trimmed them up, cause they were too long and retarted...lemme know what you think.

I don't get why people slam their cars so low. I mean yeah it looks pretty cool, but it rides like POO! I had my car about that low for a while and it was alright with stock wheels, but there is no suspension travel and you just can't turn really fast and as soon as I put my new wheels with 205/45/16 tires on, I jacked it up hella. I have about an inch gap between my fender and tire now.
Do you guys in cars like the second hatch just like to cruise around? Cause I like to take turns like I'm a race car driver, and I know in a setup like the 2nd hatch, its just not possible.

Yeah the rear wheel pic doesn't do it justice. It looks a lot lower in person, even my GF noticed it...that's how I knew! Anyway, yeah so far I like the Neuspeeds a lot, especially for the price, and I talked to some guys at shox.com and they said they all run Bilsteins and they've had some of them for like 80k+ miles...so they should hold up aight!
Quick question...should I have used the rear dust boot things or not? Cause I didn't put them on...figured it would be okay.
Oh and nobody commented on the mudflap! I trimmed it down considerably, took the whole bottom half off...maybe I'll try to get a better pic...and if anyone has a FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE MUDFLAP they wanna send me for like 10 or 15 bucks I'm probably gonna try to find one soon.
Thanks for the comments,
Alex

when I got my crx it was dropped like that, the guy cut the springs and I wapoo pooing the ground everywhere. Road are pretty bad in Canada
. I had no suspension at all and the handleing sucked (sure cut the coil spring isn't the best way and I wouldn't do it) so I had to jack it back up and it handles alot better.
it's a bit OT but I needed to talk about it lol
wapoo pooing <--- O.o

Congrat! You will like the Bilstein for sure, best bang for teh buck. Nuespeed sport looks nice with 16, not too hard on your alignment but I opted for H&R Race on mine. I am waiting for my new bushing, that will totally change the ride characteristic of the car before everything started.
Oh! make sure you change out the tired and old uppershock mounts. I use TEIN pillowball mount, for about $75 a piece(to my door).
go for a ride or somethin'

I have an older set of Eibach Sportlines, and I think my drop may be a little too low ... it scrapes over any big dips and speed humps/bumps. Might have to change them out to something stiffer and taller once I get the engine swap done.

That hatch in the top pic isn't Metallic brown its the stock Honda Maroon. Hes a friend of mine. His car rides really good for as low as it is too because hes got the original Skunks on Tokico HP's and drop forks in the front( Talk about hard to get!!). It also handles great youd be surprised

don't assume DOHC DXs car rides like **** if you don't know what it has. it's not a ghetto cut springs deal.
the actual suspension is only lowered 2 inches...IF THAT. the rest of the drop is in the dropfork/proarms. so yes...there is OVERLY sufficient suspension travel with his setup.
since i got coilovers at firt i lower it al the way i couldnt drive over 70mph in the freeway now there is 1inch 1/2 between my weel and fender now i can go over 100mph is not a bouncy ride any more
