Type R suspension on GS-R lower control arms, will it fit?
I'm getting a great deal on some coilovers for my car. I was under the impression that GS-R rear LCA's and Type R rear LCA's are different, so will these coilovers work, or do I need to change LCA's? If so, does anyone know where I can find some? JHP carries OMNI LCA's, but they're listed application is "eg / dc" ... so I don't know if those are the right ones.

You'll need to get ITR LCA's as they are different from GSR's. Try Password JDM and see if they have any used OE ITR lca's for sale. Or do a search for ITR lca's in the classified's.

I like the Omni design, the stars are goofy, hahaha. I don't get it though, they make a "eg/dc" model, but they don't specify a dc-r version. hmm....

I thought I read on h/t that the CRX lca's are slightly different... May want to check on that first.

I don't think I'd be doing that anyway... even if they did fit, wouldn't they have much less structural integrity? It'd be ironic to upgrade to a nice suspension and downgrade the LCAs

The only difference between the crx lca and type r is the coating that comes on them and the crx hole is slightlly smaller not not by much to make either shock not fit.
As far as the less structural integrity comment. I know they are lighter then the normal LCA's and I think also stonger. If they were weaker i dont think they would use them on most hondas in japan. I could be wrong.
