whats up everybody....i need help on finding the right pistons for my b18c1....im shopping for some good piston for my turbocharge set-up.....i dont really know which pistons good to go w/...since theres a few out there such as j.e,srp,arias,wiesco,cp,ross & mahle...just trying to find some that could take some abuse....some speed shop told me that srp pistons are rated for 400 hp...whats the best bore size should i go w/.....if i go 84.5 mm,do i have to get my combustion chamber done or is it safe w/ stock head?....need help!!!.....

 

CP hands down...If u are wanting to go over 81.5mm i would recommend to get the block sleeved for turbo apps. And it wont hurt anything to leave the head stock

 

yeah,i got a iron sleeve block....it wont hurt to leave the combustion camber and head stock....will it run right like that w/ 84.5mm bore...

 

I wouldnt go 84.5mm on ur 1st build. Just incase u blow it up u got room to fix it.

 

ok...im might go .20 over for now w/ 9:8.1 comp....if anything happens then ill go 84.5mm later...hopefully ill make some good hp @ 24 lb when i get everything done...now im currently boostin 11 lb on a stock b18c1 block,head & ecu...it run pretty decent w/ what i got...but goint to install a hondadata as soon as the motor is done....
