H22 TB and fuel pump on a B16a powered 89 rex HF???? (informal intorduction)
Hey all, all though im new to this board, i am not new to honda's or for that matter cars in general. I've owned my HF for a little over 4 years now, it used to be my drive-to-work car but in the past 3 months ive gotten a replacement and decided to finally mod my rex. This weekend I am expecting the arrival of my B16a, first things first i'm gonna swap all gaskest, do a compression check myself, and drain all fluids and replace with new one's. I've been saving money and taking time to talk to friends who have mod'd honda's and i pretty much have the gist of my goals.
Anyway on to my question, will a h22 TB and fual pump benefit my setup, or am i better off going with an alternate TB and a Walbro 215 fp? also can I use the entire CTR valvetrain in a motor with otherwise stock internals?
Here is the setup i will shortly be running
3" short ram intake
Blox intake manifold
Ported and polished head w/5-angle vj
edelbrock headder
2.5" test pipe
tanabe super medallion racing spec cat back
hondata s200 ecu
