Default My LS\Vtec build

My build
B16a Head w/ GSR cams
B18b Block w/ PR3 pistons mounted on stock ls rods

Here's my parts list thus far:

Golden Eagle LS\Vtec kit
PR3 Honda OEM Piston Ringset
ACL Bearings
Golden Eagle Head Studs
ITR Oil Pump
ITR Water Pump
ITR T-belt
ARP Rod Bolts
ITR Intake Manifold
B18b TB bored by maxbore

Once I get a little more cash I plan on upgrade my valvetrain also.

My B18b1 block.

Adios crappy ls head (ignore the white eg in the back... it's not going in that)

Removing the B18 rods

B18 rods and pistons on top B16 rods and pistons on the bottom.

My pistons back from the machinist. They really turned out great!

Throttle body bored by Jorge at Maxbore. Bored to 64mm.

Golden Eagle "HD" Headstuds w/ glass bead finish

New oil pump, water pump and tensioner installed

Old B16 ..... pulled

PR3 pistons installed w/ new rings in freshly honed cylinders

Rebuilt tranny mounted on b18 bottom end and installed

Head finally installed

A lot of little things to finish up but for the most part she's in!

It's sitting a bit higher than the B16 that was in there before. Looks like I'll be cutting the hood a little.

Slicks and rims finally came too.

nice build! you shouldn't have to cut the hood, i didnt on my ls/vtec in my 91 hatch, i used hcp mounts. it is very close though, if i run my plug wires across the top of my valvecover, and not in the recessed area, they come in contact with the hood.

Thanks for the compliments, the motors running great so far. I just started breaking it in last weekend. I can't wait till I can push it harder! One bad thing is that the rebult tranny that I bought... well.... it's needs to be rebuilt again. 3rd and 5th grind and 4th keeps poping out of gear.

It's not a ls valve cover it's a b16.
