i was hoping some of you header guys could help a guy out here. i just want a learn a little bit more about why one would choose certain dimentions based off motor size, rpm, compression, etc.

i know i've seen people spit out pretty specific numbers based off this type of info. any online links or good book recomendations would be great!

i have little to no desire in making my own headers, i'd just like to learn a little
