CEL #1 won't go away !

CEL #1 won't go away !
I've been running a bad O2 for a while and finally got one to change...actually I got 2 just in case
I changed the O2 twice and STILL getting a code 1. My ecu is chipped for Uberdata, but due to circumstances, I clipped the jumper to go back to the stock tune. My car seems to run ok, but this is annoying as even switching out O2's twice, the code keeps coming back. Even if I dump the code, it immediatly comes on when I restart.
What could I be doing wrong ? COuld the ECU be damaged or could it be a bad ground on the harness (I haven't tested it per the Helms manual) ?
