depends what hydraulic tranny. if its a d series, good luck. only one kit has ever been made, and you're looking at about a grand.

if its a b series, go with tangerinebeast's advice

If it is a d series it is going to be a custom job. You need to fabricate a custom transmission mount and also a mechanism to activate the clutch. One option is to swap the entire hydraulic system and pedal assembly from a hydraulic clutch car.

What you can do is keep the d16z6 and bolt your a6 tranny to it. Sell the z6 tranny for @$100 and call it a day. To get the best results from the Z6 swap you may want to convert to obd1, then run a p28 ecu.

For a wiring conversion, there are plenty of places to get one. You can get them from http://www.rywire.com or http://www.jkobd.com

kool...there's this guy who wants to sell his 92 civic Si swap..full swap for $400...and it has way less miles than my Crx now...
All I want to know is how to do it, and will it be hard, or will it be worth it???

Its not hard but there are a few things you need to do.
First transfer the a6 wiring harness over to the z6 motor.

1. You will need to take the timing belt side motor mount from the d16a6 and put it on the d16z6 block.
2. You have to extend the coolant temp. sensor wire from behind motor to where it is on the z6. Its located on the thermostat housing on the z6.
3. You will need to extend the MAP sensor wiring to reach the new MAP sensor location. Its on top of the z6 throttle body.
4. Remove the resistor box and connect all the wire together. (1 yellow/black , 4 red/black)
5. Repin the distributor wire to the OBD1( grey ) plug, same with the injector plugs.

Thats what i can think of as of right now. It should also give you a little idea of what you're about to get into.

Good luck.

Forgot to add you might have to use the clutch and flywheel from the a6, depending on what year the cable tranny is.

1-3. agreed
4. Correct, no need for the resistor box since you z6 comes with saturated injectors.
5. or you can get a dizzy jumper harness like this:
but not necessary, save the money and repin wires

don't forget a 4 wire HO2S

a6 and z6 flywheels are interchangeable although the z6 is a tad lighter than the a6 and get the flywheel resurfaced. Bottom line, you can use the a6 tranny with the z6 flywheel. 89 trannies has 21 splines as well as the 90-91's that have the larger diameter clutch disc and 21 splines unlike the 88's with 20 splines meaning you can use a z6 clutch setup unless you're crx is an 88 but it isn't. It's always recommended to use a clutch setup with the tranny you're using
