if its a ys1 from a b16 it should go 4500@80
if its a ys1 from ls it should go 3500@80

92-93 gsr only no 91
b17 tranny=ys1 short gear
jdm xsi b16 tranny=ys1 short gear+lsd option

Hmm.. My tranny was replaced in my 91' RS B4 I bought it. It still has the junkyard #'s on it and all. I am wondering if they put a YS1 gsr tranny on it instead of the LS tranny. Reason for wondering is becuase i just went 15.4 in the 1/4 all stock except no muffler. Did it at completely full weight too. It also seems like the gears go pretty quick. When I am on the highway cruising at about 80mph my rpm's are about 4K. Could this be a gsr tranny? since the B16 is about 4500 @ 80 and the LS is 3500 @ 80.

the gsr cable tranny is the same as a ys1 b16 tranny.
