89 HF CRX $8000

B20 block
JE pistons 85mm
12:5:1 c/r
arp head studs
n1 pully
act prolite flywheel
act clutch(extreme plate 6 puck disk)
YS1 tranny

srr 4.9 fd
fenza axels(sp?)

port & polished
welded chambers
crower valve springs
crower ty retainers
custom crower "vtec killer" cams
TWM 2k series 52mm ITB'S

tuned OBD1 ECU using crome

Custom Ron Davis radiator

The motor has only made 4 1/4 mile passes and 5 passes on the dyno. The motor made 224whp and 149tq and was still on the rich side. Easy 240-250whp with more dyno time. The motor has never been driven on the street and has less than 50 miles on it.

bump because I think scott forgot to mention that the car went in the 12s (at palmdale on a hot day!) when it only had 20x horsepower (before dyno tuning). So with a little more test n tune you will have a very competitive car for the street all motor classes.

Scott qualified this car for IDRC Pro-Am All Motor at the last Palmdale event even though it was the first time ever taking this thing to the track. And like I said that was when it still made only like 20x horsepower I believe. It now has 224...

There's more power to be found through the tuning. It only has a few dyno pulls on it. Initial number was 207whp, and when we left we were at 224whp. We started cutting into everyone's beer drinking time, so the tuning was not finished. Based on current AFR at 7500rpm+ I would think 240whp is definitely obtainable with tuning alone.
