Thinking about driving from Chicago, leaving early Friday June 10 (right after midnight probably) and starting the drive back a few hours after the race sunday. Going to meet up with a friend about 60 miles away from the track, where he's got a hotel room for a very, very reasonable amount. (65ish US a nite, 2 nites to spilt 3 ways) Plus weekend pass at the Canadian GP, which is about 80US. Not too bad.

Co-pilot from chicago can't go.. and I'd rather have some company for the 870-ish mile drive each way.

Anyhoo. Kind of a shot in the dark to the local IL/WI/etc peoples who may have interest in going.
