question about skunk2 cam gears?

Default question about skunk2 cam gears?

hey guys!....i bought a set of skunk2 cam gears, there on my engine already, but havent been adjusted yet!...i was wondering if anyone has a 97 and up lude thats got those cam gears and has the best settings?? just to save me about a 100US for dyno tune!...

everybody's car is different. besides, the tolerances on those tick marks aren't as high as they could be. if you really want the most out of your engines, go spend the money to dyno tune it. but that's just my 2 cents. you could always just do seat-of-the-pants tuning if you want to save your money.

If you just gotta turn them to get something out of them, the SAFEST settings you can do to tide you over are intake +1 and exhaust -1. That should yield you some top end power while being safe until you can get on the dyno.

Now if you have a Apexi VAFC/SAFC.. DO NOT TOUCH THEM UNTIL YOU GET ON A DYNO!! Don't blow up your junk!
