What year is the car? Has the car been wrecked? What coilovers do you have? How old are your struts?
Try to be more descriptive when creating a thread next time, it makes it a lot easier on everyone to answer your question.

well its some cheap coilovers, motosports.. i think that was it.. no new stru or anything just put in the coilovers.. but when i had it at stock.. everything was perfectly fine nothing wrong with my suspension at all.. until i put the coilovers in that was the only problem... how can i tell if its a messed up strut????.. any way to look at it??..
the same thing happend to a buddy of mine he just put them on only the second drive and the driver side was lower it was on a 2000 civic si so everything was good then he rolled the car over right in a field infront of my house so that kinda sucked for him lol
Yeah its probably the struts, or the brand of springs
You said the brand was "motorsports" haha.....i wouldnt buy anything like that but here is whats wrong....
when you buy springs there are 2 pairs of spring in the box, stiffer ones for the front because the motor is so heavy and the front needs more strength to hold the car up i guess, and the rea ones are a bit softer since there is no weight really in the back.....you probably have a softer one in the front......actually i gurantee it.
You should replace your struts with a GOOD BRAND, and see if it still happens, if so ditch your cheap coilovers an get a good set like Skunk2's or something.....
but i bet you its what i said, you have a softer coilover in the front when it should be in the rear....or they sent you like 3 softs and 1 hard or soemthing messed up a low name brand would tend to do
good luck though

well no, that wasn't the problem.. i looked at the struts... no leak.. the coils.. both are for the fronts.. just dropping geezes.. i think im just gonna go get name brand this time... dont settle for less when it comes to suspension!!... i think that'll solve the problem...
yeah check your shock to see if anything is leaking from them and then check if you have the right springs on each shock. you probably saw nothing wrong before befor you had a stock spring on that wouldnt of changed the height of the car just made the ride bad. who put your coilovers on, did they let you know your shocks were in bad shape or if they were good?

NO Skunk2 coilovers unless you want a rough *** ride. They are made for launching at the strip. Tenzo R's are nice that is what I have.

i heard tenzos are even more expensive but were i live and i travel from wisconsin to minn and illinois a few times and those roads arnt that forgiving so i think i might have to stick with the tenzos
The problem is NOT a blown shock.
As someone else suggested, maybe you have the incorrect spring on the driver's side. There should have been 2 kinds of springs in your kit: one type for front and another type for rear. Check to make sure you didn't put the fronts on the left side and the rears on the passenger side. Look at the spring and see if there is a painted number code. Either that, or the adjuster is stripped - but I think you could see that.
If your kit came with all 4 springs the same - throw it away, as your car will never ride or handle correctly.
By the way, what do you mean "adjusting bar always goes back to the same position"? Coilovers have threads.

well as i was refering to adjusting the bar.. yes the coils i should say.. well heres how i did it... i put both of the coils about four threads away from the bottom... and it was ok for about ... the drive home.. then as i came to realize my left was lower than my right.. so then i raised JUST my left side... (fronts only)... and drove it around the block.. it seemed fine.. i came back and realized it was lower again.... i lifted the car and nothing changed still the thread of which i raised it to.. which was like sixth to the bottom.. the right is at four.. BUT the left kept going down even if i adjusting the coil up on the left..... that is my problem... the left is always lowering.. not the right... the right stays the same... but in detail.. i only have dropped the front not yet on the back... if i did will it change that??.. or will it not??...

ive had them all skunk2, tien, tenzo, ect. my favorite is by far ground control, but they are a bit pricey, if i had to pick a second fav, id go with the tenzo's, they are not bad at all.
