HELP! 1990 Accord 2DR Shoulder Belt Actuator not working...
I searched and couldn't find anything. I just bought a 90 2dr EX and BOTH front shoulder belt actuators are stuck in the forward position and do not respond when the doors are opened and shut. What can I do to diagnose the problem and where is the relay and fuse for the system - I can't find them in either fuse box...
Thanks,
Andy

according to two local dealers, the BELTS are warrantied, but the retractors are NOT warrantied since you can still operate them manually...
so, i gave honda corporate a call, and they said that the entire seat belt system is covered under their LIFETIME SAFETY SYSTEM WARRANTY and to call my dealer and schedule an appointment and that they'd make sure it was covered as long as it was determined to be in original operating condition and had not been modified in any way.
looks like this one will get fixed for FREE!
also, i found that both retractor fues were pulled and the power was unplugged from the unit under the passenger seat. i replaced the fuses and plugged the controller in and the passenger side works fine now.
the driver side, i have th manually move it back to the "locked" position over my shoulder, and when i open the door, it will return to the open position, but won't go back to the locked position...
