i figured this would be a fun thread

list your Favorite few mods you have EVER made to your R and of course, the ones you truly regret or dislike!

for example:

my Favorites: ES Motor Mounts, T1R exhaust, Mugen 26mm Sway bars

mods i really didnt enjoy: Action 2MD 6 puck clutch

Favorites:

-Spoon Calipers
-ATS FD

Worst:

-Skunk Short shifter
-Apexi N1
-AEM CAI

 

Favs: T1R catback, JDM 4.7 FD, Sparco Flash 5 steering wheel, J's CF intake

Regrets: UR pulley kit, Proform shift light, 17inch Rota Sub-Zero's(for sale too )

Looking forward to getting my Alex 25mm rear sway, and Hondata by mid-June.


There was a thread like this already created about 6 months ago but I think it's time for a refresher seeing as some R owner are mod ******

 

Whose got the ghey-o-meter?

 

Best: The experience I gain in every track event

Worst: All the car mods I never did

 

best: light flywheel, JUN3s, sticky tires.

worst: having a crappy shop work on my car, Hyperclutch

 

favorites are many, to name a few:

1.) that snail thingy that hangs off the front of my motor
2.) CM3 clutch
3.) z10 bars
4.) hondata

least favorite

1.) EM mounts (a necessary evil, but they make my brain itch..)
2.) skunk2 shifter (got rid of it and went back to stock)
3.) VAFC (had to have it at the time, but my fingers were sore from pushing buttons constantly)

 

Favourite:

ATS Final Drive - made the car much more responsive

Worst:

ATS Final Drive - last straw that made the car a noisy pain in the **** on the highway

not real favorite:
Walbro 255 HP
with out gettin a regulator and gauge at the same time=

Is that your favorite mod, or your least favorite mod?

Mine are Turbo and Turbo. Best and worst mod ever.

 

Fav:
AEM CAI
Brembo blank rotors/Axxis pads
Relica OEM JDM ITR header (hey can't go TOO wrong wit a header that cost 290 shipped )

Worst:
VAFC(that biatch is only there are show because it hasn't served any real purpose)
Invidia exhaust (tapping the LCA)
Axxis pads (dust like a ****)

 

jdm window visors - best
exedy clutch - worst

My Walbro 255 died on me this week.

 

Best:
s/s braided brake hoses (f&r)
Fujitsubo Legalis-R
Spoon ECU

Worst:
Vision Test pipe (removed after it made the exhaust sound like a cheap pile of crap)

 

Best: Endless + others brake setup, Zeal B6, M00gen 26mm sways, ES motor mount inserts

Blah, you die: Benen front lower tie, ES shifter bushings

 

Best: Toda, Fujitsubo, Comptech H/E/I, Fidanza flywheel, Hondata, Buddy Club or Zeal suspension, Cobalt brakes, rollbar/seats/harnesses, Falkens

Worst: Haven't had any yet, but it'll probably happen eventually.
