Default engine swap questions

I've got a 92 Prelude SI i'm about to swap my engine out with a 97-01 engine type s model but the guy is only selling the engine wit no tranny can my 92 tranny work wit the type S engine also what else should i buy to make sure all goes well do i need to buy new sensors whtevr advice ya'll can give me hit it up

See: OBD I conversion.

AFAIK you'll need the Distributor and some other obd I goodies from the h23 to make it run.

tranny will NOT work without some modifications made to the type-S block, since the type S tranny is an ATTS tranny.

ideally, you will want an SH tranny which should fit.

besides, using an h23 tranny on an H22 will create some powerband issues.

not only that the atts thats on the Type S wont work properly... as far as i know no one has been able to make it work either in a 4th gen.. correct me if im wrong.
