a p28 will let the engine run ok. You should get a chipped p28 with the proper fuel and timing maps though. I believe that Jim Truett here on honda-tech sells chipped p28s or could lead you to who sells them. He knows alot about d15b's, and could help you more than i could. I am just a quasi d15b guy, he's the pro. He helped me several times during my swap.

yeah, it'll run the motor, but the p28 has vtec, so you will get a cel if you rev that high. D15 ecus are not expensive though. If you can't find one, it really should be chipped for your motor when you get the chance. Check sponsor's marketplace for people who chip ecus, or go to pgmfi.org and learn how.

p28 will not run your car. if your using vx parts. vx has a five wire o2 instead of a four wire and there are some small differences like that. not saying it would run at all but it wont run as good as it could

I missed the vx part. yeah, the o2 could be a problem. I've used a p28 on a d15 before but it had a 4 wire o2, not to mention any other possible differences in the vx (sorry I don't know **** about vx specific things).

the d15b also has vtec. I did forget about the O2 sensor though. You should use a Z6 engine harness with the 2 wire 02 sensor. As far as emissions stuff and some electronics i pulled stuff off of my d16z6, including alot of sensors that went into the IM that the D15B didn't have.
