Default S2000 with 24k and hardtop price 25 rgand too much?

Granted its from a european dealer up the road from me but they have this flawless 2002 Silver S2000 with 24k miles, And only mod appears to be a hardtop that comes with it. They are asking 25 grand for it and I figure I would pay the full amount hoping that they would take care of the 2 grand of rollover I would have on my lexus trade in. Is that too much to pay for a flawless s2k with hardtop or is that a good deal any opinions?

With your negative equity including in that $25,000, i'd say thats a fair price if its from a dealer, but at that price, i'd press for them to include some sort of extended warranty.

Personally, on its own...even with the hardtop, with the mileage and it being a 2002, i'd probobly pay about $22,000 tops.

See I'm not that far in the hole. But this is a high end dealership where people walk in and buy 100 grand cars with a check you know. The car is immaculate and the hard top is definetly something I want. The warranty is 3 years 36k and 6 year 60k on motor/powertrain right?

Just cuz ppl go in there and drop 100grand on a car with a check. doesnt mean you need to go in there like a baller. if anything i would take note that they make mega buks on cars like those and id try to stick it to em and tell em i wont go a dime over 22 grand. See wut they say then...

a $25,000 car compared to $100,000 cars- they really arent gunna sweat 2-3 grand

Exactly my point. Thanks for clearing that up I never said I was going to go in like a baller. I just wanted to see if that was a fair price regardless of any condition.

$25k retail is fair but there's room for negotiation, wholesale s2000 with that mileage this time of year go for 21-23 depending on condition and accessories.
