hey guys, i just got a 94 ls cluster from a friend. he no longer needed it so i was thinking about putting it on my rex. i got the pin outs for both clusters, but i was just wondering what other materials i will be needing. i was searching and i ran into this page that said i need the cover or something from a 90-91 crx, but i wasn't sure that's why i'm trying to get some additional help from the ones who know. Thanks any input would be greatly appreciated.

btw: whats the difference between the 94 ls cluster and the 94 gsr cluster?

 

Since the 88 crx cluster has a square shape and the newer clusters are rounded I would assume you would be better off using a 90-91 cluster hood that accepts the rounder style clusters. I also feel you may need some aluminum or steel stock to fabricate brackets to mount the cluster. There are some people that have swapped gsr clusters as well as 99 Si clusters. Hopefully they will chime in to help you out.
