Help - Redline/Fuel cut
so i searched, nothing helpful. I put a jdm b16 in my teg, with uberdata tuned p28. i have vtec kick in at 4800, redline stock at ~8200. For some reason, my fuel cut is at 7400. I know it's not the chip because i reset the ecu to stock settings, and it still cut out. i went to a shop, they said it could be cutting out because im not getting enough spark to my rotor and cap, i don't think that is the case. i have an ohm tester, and it is receiving adequate spark. anyone know whats going on or can help me out a lil bit, just a lil bit.

that's a good ?. i suppose i don't really know. i have a 93 gs integra, with a jdm b16 and a p28 ecu. how would i know if my tach is accurate?
Even with a different engine, the tach will still pick up stock levels of RPMS...it's hard to explain, but once it is fixed, you'll understand. My friend had the same thing happen...At the engine's 8200 redline, the tach still read the 7400 redline. He took it back to the shop where he got the motor swapped in at, thinking they did something wrong with the engine, but all they had to do was adjust the tach (free of charge for him). Now don't ask me HOW to adjust it, lol.
sounds good, just bring it to a shop and have them adjust it. my friends 91 DA has a speedo that reads about 10 mph higher than hes actually going; the speedo never drops down to 0 so he has to adjust it.
