i just stripped the inerior on my 90 DA and on both sides just behind the driver/passenger seats are these motors, both coverd in little bags one blue and one is tan in color>? iwanna remove them but i cant afford to lose my sunroof... help me out if u have any idea what im talking about

 

I don't really know what they are. But why are you taking out all your interior? Cleaning? Track?

Weight reduction dood!

Back to the problem: most likely something isn't going to function if you remove those motors. Decide what you wanna do....have luxury, or be a few pounds lighter...

 

damn, its hard to say i kinda want everything to work that on there now other than the stupid antenna motor i took out and the wiper guy for the rear, everyother motor must stay

 

Maybe for the sliding seat belts? Thats if u have them?

That's correct Don't mess with them.

 

why does everybody think by gutting out your car helps,it does but only if your track if not put that stuff back in man.all your doing is reducing about 80-100lbs and it makes you car more inconvinient (whatever) for the ladies.......

they are shoulder belt motors and gutting your car does make it a little quicker and its free so it is worth it plus hauling people around is lame make someone else drive or buy a mini van
