if the work is performed properly, you will definately NOT want to get rid of it.

as long as the work performed is done properly, the only time there is a risk of "the car is never really the same again" is after a big collision.

thats like saying "if i get my water pump replaced will my car ever be the same?" crap wears out, its a fact of life.

having the frame repaired/straightened, now thats a different story.

I completely agree, also agree with what greyout said, you will not want to get rid of it, it will feel MUCH better
