Default Wings West 6pc. Body kit???

I need some advice, I'm not a ricer but I love the way this body kit looks. I was wondering if anybody has a pics of the kit on a Crx??But I plan on leaving the front bumper alone, Because I want to get the JDM conversion, and just stick the type R lip on it. I knew I saw a pic of a white crx with this same type of body style.
What do you people think the idea???Is it rice to have this or not??

If you are going to get a JDM conversion then get the side skirts and everything that will look better than a JDM front end with WW body kit on the rest of the car....but that is my .02

I'll be honest with you I love that kit as well, my main concern with it is the weight as well as the aerodynamics

I had one that I was gonna put on my old crx....but it was MAD heavy so I sold it

I have the 6pc on my car, my kit is urathane, which makes it flexible so it doesn't bend and crack but you can't smooth it into the metal. If your car is a daily driver urathane will probably hold up better.

but when do you plan on using your street car to go 150+ mph to actually have the downforce play a factor?

listen the only thing that is heavier than stock are the sideskirts and door caps. the front and rears are minimal difference in weight.

for the sleeper comments: the only EF sleepers are 4drs and beat down looking EF with **** interior and rust/primer everywhere, not clean ones with stock wheels or steelies.
another thing. CRXs are not sleepers everyone even the domestic guys know about CRXs being fast, these days a stock looking/sleeper crx would get stolen over a bodykitted one that would just get broken into for stereo system and etc.. any person having a clean stock looking crx with an exhaust or vtec engine sound will not be a sleeper lets just say that. bodykits actually deter most theives but bring on the petty theives and vandalizers think about it.

i've always loved the WW style kit, I remember seeing one with a JDM front end and WW sides and rear it looked amazing. The WW kit is the only acceptable kit for our ED's just my .02 cents

I agree, it's as close to the Mugen kit as we can get. Not as clean but still makes it look good.

Hey,
Thanks for all your comments. I think I'll go head and buy the kit. This guy in town is selling his brand new, not painted(Polyurethane). He's asking about $500 to $550 for the full kit. Does that seem like to much or just the right price???
Also if anybody knows where to find that crx with the WW kit and JDM conversion post the pics up again.

That sounds like a good price. I paid $700-$800 for my kit a year and a half ago. Be sure you take it to a good shop as the kit fitment is not that good and will need sanding, alignment, etc.

I have the urethane kit on one of my cars.. The kit is pretty damn heavy.. I would say its heavier than the stock bumpers..
