Need Help
wasup all
I have 99 accord(4cyl) I want to lower my car. I am getting good deal for springs either 15." or 2.0" drop. Right now I have 18" 215/35/ZR18 and my stocks are 195/65/r15.
My question is what would look more better 1.5" or 2.0" (considering that I'll be driving in winter).
So what you guys suggest. PLease help me out.

Do I need camber kit no matter what?

My 1998 Accord is dropped 1.5 inches and this is how it looks sitting on 18's

At a drop of only 1.5" you really don't need an camber kit, but you will need an alignment. Any drop past 1.5" though will require a camber kit.
Hope this helps!

witha 18 inch wheel, remember thats gonna raise the car up off the ground, and so even a bigger drop is need to make it look good.....youll wanna go 2", but you MIGHT have to roll the fenders if the tires rub, which isn unlikely.....generally a camber kit is needed on >2"...im dropped 2, and dont have a camber kit, and its not really that bad
id suggest eibach sportline springs or neuspeed race springs if not coilovers

Second that. Sitting on 18"s with a 1.5" drop will still look like your rolling stock

Actually, I have about 1 finger gap between the fender and the tires all the way around. I am on 215/40/18 Falken ZIEX. They roll wonderfully, and I don't rub turned all the way to the left or right.

one finger gap? human?
i had eibach prokit before and it's not anywhere close to one finger gap
but again, you could be running some meaty tires but generally speaking, you can't even tuck the tire without getting a drop somewhere near 4inch.
for 6th gen, you will not run into fender clearance problem, as well as control arm hitting body(like 5th gen).
you know it's too low when the struct and steering arm touch when doing over bump.

Okay, once again the tires are rated at 215/40/18. There is about 1 1/2 inches of rubber sitting on the rim itself. I have used TIEN SS Shocks/Struts to drop it 1.5 inches and the picture above is what it looks like. It is humanly possible to have a one finger gap, because I have it. No the wheels didn't need to be tucked, and no it doesn't hit anything when I hit bumps. I can still roll over just about everything in the road except for a person.
