Default ERS Questions

hey all.... just wanted to know whats the deal with these springs.... i'm on Sportlines and i feel they are too soft.. i read some posts about ERS's but when i tried to do some research i came up empty...

are ERS's a single coil that you can use with shocks?
are they replacement springs for coilovers?
and/or do they have to be bought with a matched helper/tender spring?

thanks in advance

Crappy/Stiff Ride != good handling

Get yourself some good shocks, like koni yellows. If you want stiff ride, then crank the rebound all the way up.

I could be way off base here....but doesn't ERS mean Eibach Race Spring? Race spring as in linear rates, not that comfortable progressive rate crap.

from what i read they are linear rates therefore they are stiffer, but then i read something about helper/tender springs to make it more comfortable....

hmm... so i'm figuring these springs are for the HARDCORE auto-x people only?!?!
