Fuel Pumps: Inline vs. In Tank
I'm trying to decide what type of fuel pump to get for my crx and I don't know which would be better -- inline or in tank. It seems to me that an inline pump wouldn't work because it can only push as much as the stock pump can feed to it. Am I wrong? I can't seem to find any in tank systems either. What would you guys suggest and what do you have running in your own cars?
im using a walbro 255hp only cause i plan on gong turbo later on. i ordered mine from lightning motersports for like $90 shipped works real well i can her an audible hum only if my interior is stripped.oh yea this is on a crx too.
whats your setup for needing a bigger fuel pump? i went with a walbro 190lph for my crx w/ fully built b20-v. in-tank is always better then an inline. Better safe then sorry.
My setup is a "fully built" b16 with about 12.5 compression, port and polished head, valvetrain done, oversized valves, aebs intake manifold and working on getting some crower stage 2 cams and 310cc RC injectors. I have a feeling my stock pump isn't going to cut it and the only in tank pump I've found that looks promising is the one modified by Endyne.
And yes, this is in a CRX
