Default Black Thick Fluid in Clutch Resevoir?

I just noticed that my clutch has no pressure until like 75% depressed so i looked into my clutch resevoir. Inside I saw black thick fluid. My question is how brake fluid gets to this degree?

Brake fluid absorbs water and it turns black in the process.

Take a look underneath your dashboard, near your clutch pedal. Is there a leak? The fluid is turning black because one of your seal is getting old. You can try flushing out the old fluild and see if you regain pressure.
