Front lips are pretty easy to destroy. I was just reading a thread on how someone ripped off they're type r lip by hitting a racoon. I thought it was pretty effin funny, so I'm starting this thread just to hear what other random things have killed front lips. I know I have 2 stories...

Lip 1: My GF was driving my car the day after I had just put on my mugen (style) lip. She had no car so I let her drive it for a few days. She picked me up at work, and the lip was hanging off the drivers side and scraping the ground. I looked at her and she was smiling back at me. She had no clue that it was hanging off, and she denied hitting anything. I had to resin a few cracks and mount it back up....I still don't know what really happened. That lip ended up being fully destroyed by her backing my car out of our steep driveway.

Lip 2: Another Mugen lip. I accidentally remote started my car in gear, and it smashed into a snowbank blowing the lip into a thousand pieces, and denting my intercooler

 

one time...a basketball hit my lip and it started bleeding....

I got punched once while I had my retainer in and the metal stuck into my lip

 

I have a mugen front lip on my lx and so far the bottom is scraped to hell from drive ways, and one time I was driving my friend to the police station so that he can pay all his fines and when I was parking I was rolling close and close to the concrete parking thing and I heard CRACK, SNAPLE, POP, and my lip was in 3 pieces. So i used bondo with the fiber glass in it to make it one piece again and got it repainted. Thats why i didn't get a carbon fiber one, even though I really, really want one.

A ******* posseum ran out in front of my car while I was doing 80 on the high way and i hit that mother ****** after I slowed down to about 60....did break my lip but there's a scratch right above it

 

that sucks. go bite off ur girlfriends lip and ask her how it feels.

 

my last type r style lip went through hell before it broke. it was short on one side so the part that stretched around the fender had some really bad tension on it. but i scrapped that **** everywhere and it finally gave out. only held on by 4 bolts too

 

i ripped my SiR lip clean off when i hit a piece of re-tread at 80mph on the highway.

 

Thats funny, I was doing 80 as well and hit a piece of re-tread in the winter with my stock lip on and it exploded, popped out my blinker, cracked my bumper, and bent the crap out of my grillcraft grill. I had to put my summertime wings west type 2 on in january! Not a good idea....

i had a wings west rs II lip on my integra for years. that lip took a beating and still looked good when i sold the car.

i ruined my original ITR front lip that i got for like $85 way before they were popular by running into a real estate "for sale" sign that was for some reason in the middle of the street in the middle of the night on an unlit street. I was really pissed.

Same thing happened to me, except my car went up my front porch. Luckily I bought an immatation Mugen lip instead of the $350 real deal.

my 3rd si-vtec front lip, this section where this crack eventually ripped off by a tire on the fwy. I am currently on my 4th one, and is cracked also...so slowly going on #5.
