Default best design for me!!! plz look

I have a 18" RF an I wanna Give up my whole Trunk for it I am willin to give up my spare tire and poo poo , the one 18 might turn into 2 18s but Im just tryin to see what you guys think But Give me some help I wanna use a fiberglass coat over the wood cause I wanna paint it, its goin in a sedan so its a decent size trunk. HELP PLZ!!!! TIA...

what modle 18"rf. what kind of box do u want..... what kind of music do u listn to.. do u want spl or sq or both...... how much power r u giving it........

I'd say if he's looking at going to 2 18's, he's in it for SPL or just a really bass heavy system

In competition, usually, if you want SPL you need to go with several subs either 10s or 12s inchers. Now, if you want a good street bass and mad low frequencies, you can go with 15s or 18s...

First: You need to know the cubic feet your sub calls for. Depending on how much space you have in your trunk, you will know if you would be able to put one or two 18" subs in order to have optimum performance. Remember that when you install two similar subs in a common chamber enclosure, the volume don't have to be exactly double of what a single sub will take. It can be less. So, do your calculations based on that and you'll tell if you can add the second sub later on.

Second: Yes, apply fiber glass on wood is a good idea. It gives you a stronger surface and less flex. Also a good finish.

its just going to be street bass, I listen to Mad techno / Rap It will just be one for now I heard the same speaker in a POS box and it quaked!

i would say put in about 5^3ft with about 75sq inchs of port and for street u want to tune it to about 30hz it will get nice and low........
if u tell me the modle and how much power u have i can give u more exact specs for the box......
