Default Key/ignition problem

wha'd up guys I need help, my lady has 95 accord 4dr automatic... Her key is stuck in the ignition.

I told her to turn the car on, run through every gear in the tranny, back to park and try to remove it but its not a parking indicator. Theres no release switch that i know of for accords, Turning wheels nothing...I dont wanna strip the ignition inside and **** anything up since that piece is around $200 any ideas on what can be done.

oh and as for now, the key is left in there of course and she took her alarm remote off to get in and out...Her car is flipped out and all so I dont want it getting stolen. Its all she has, any ideas?

by doing this will i strip any pins inside the ignition? She is using a POS accord type R aftermarket key but she does have the stock one..

Am i safe doing this? or is there a chance i could **** something up?

...of course you could cause more damage but i hate to tell you this but you don't have too many options i guess you could remove complete assembly and take it to a locksmith ..i think by using the aftermarket key it did not line up properly with the thumblers in ign lock and there might be a possibility that you won't even be able to use the stock key anymore but you won't know till you remove the 1 that is stuck,,,,,,, another option you might to phone a locksmith and ask for his advice he might know a trick to remove it that i am not aware of ...

werd, right on for the advice.. i actually looked at her car after i got out of school tonight and it goes like this...

Ignition Steps - off, electrical, then crank...

0.............................I................... ..........II
.........................stuck here............................

I can only turn her car on from the second notch and the key wont turn all the way back so it can release.. i yanked the **** out of it and it wont budge a bit. I dont wanna force it since it seems jammed pretty bad. I guess I gotta have a mechanic check it out. Thanks anyways..

if its getting stuck there it sounds like it a problem with the parking switch. does the guage cluster indicate the car is in park?
