Prelude SI with H22 motor, what cat to use?
Doing the H22 swap on the SI right now, and I don't know if the SI cat will fit the h22 downpipe. Will they bolt up or should I look for the h22 cat? Thanks

I would think so, although I thought all 92-96 Si and VTEC model aftermarket exhausts were the same part # from any given company.

The 96 model year cats are not the same. 92-95 are all the same, the 96 cats have the secondary O2 bung. You can use a 96 cat in the 92-95 cars if you plug the extra bung with a spark plug, but you can't use a 92-95 cat in a 96 unless you drill and weld in another bung, which is a LOT of work......
Also, FYI, for you people with 96's who sold yours and now need a cat for emissions and have realized that 96 prelude cats are impossible to find, you can use a 5th gen cat. It'll bolt to the downpipe fine (bolt pattern is the same) but the pattern to the mid-pipe is slightly different (the 5th gen cat bolts are spaced slightly closer together). If you enlarge the holes on the mid-pipe .5 cm larger towards the inside, everything will bolt up fine.
