Prelude 97-01 struts/shocks/springs?? Front is lower then the back? Need some lowering expertise..?
Hi, I'm a dealer and I just bought a 97 Honda Prelude but the front is much lower then the back.
Here's what I know and what I did so far.
I immediately noticed this increase once I replaced the back tires with new one's, but I couldn't imagine the extra tread being the cause! The tires in the back are mismatched from the front tires.
My front struts are totally gone and they need replacing badly. I'm not sure if that could be the problem or the new (same series tires I just put on the back).
Here's my question!??
Is there a possibilty that the stock springs could be on the back and aftermarket lowered springs be on the front??

it is possible. jack up your car in front and in back. peek in the wheel wells and look at the springs and shocks. look for writing on the springs or logos, and also look at the color of the springs. some people do the springs in front to make their car look ... well i don't really know what look they're going for. good luck man.
ya man, check if they chopped the springs too, some peopl who dont want to buy lowering springs, chop a coil off of em to lower em, which will cause struts to go out, maybe someone got halfway done, and just didnt finish...lol.
