i got my exhaust today and im gonna need either a cat or a test pipe. my question is, which cat will i need or for what kinda acura/honda will i need to buy a test pipe for? its a 94 vx hatch with a gsr swap and a dc 4-1 header for a ls integra. the collector on the ls header has the driverside bolt hole lower than on the gsr header and the ls header is also longer than the gsr header. here is a shitty drawing of what im talking about:



has anyone ever been in this situation? if so what did you do? i know i can go to the exhaust shop here and pay them to do it which is fine with me but they cant make flanges for me, and i dont have a cat for them to cut flanges off of. so if you know what cat/testpipe i need to buy or have any advice for me i would really appreciate it.

the ls cat will bolt up to the ls header dc sports header....but will it bolt up to the civic exhaust? also, what about the length that i will have.the exhasut is for a civic with a civic header/manifold..the ls header sticks out further than the civic one....and im pretty sure the cat might be a different size. wont i have problems with the being too long????

 

i just went out and measured the exhuast that i just got and then measured my freinds ls cat on his 95 ls...added the 2 together and its only about 1 inch longer than the existing civic exhuast on the car right now. thanks for your help...it is looking like the ls cat will work.
