I'm in the middle of installing my rear brake conversion, but noticed that one of the rear hub bearings are shot. I've come to a conclusion that I DO need to get an entire hub assembly

Anyways, here's my question....

I have the rear trailing arms from a 95' GSR with ABS, I noticed that the 99-00 Si' (without ABS) hubs are cheaper by $30ea. I cannot make use of the ABS anyways, does anyone know if it is possible to use the NON-ABS hub on the trailing arms from an ABS car?


Here is some useful information I found out as I was searching around....

1. Honda Civic 99-00 Si Front Bearings are the same as GSR front bearings

2. Honda Civic 99-00 Si front lower ball joints are the same as the GSRs

3. The ABS version of the rear hub is the same between Integras & Civics with ABS and rear disks


(This is all done by comparing part #s)

 

I've heard that all rear disc assemblies are the same..........

Not sure about abs to non-abs though, just trying to help.

EDIT: All civic and integra rear discs......... excuse me.

 

Only difference is there is no gearing on the hub of non abs parts.
Bearings themselves are the same.

Ive found that a lot of parts, that are the same, between honda and acura cannot always be proven the same w/ part #s.
