Default greddy turbo kit. questions?

hi guys im looking to get a greddy turbo kit for my 97 gsr. my motor is fully built with a 9:1 compression. i wanted a reliable street legal kit so i won't get hassle by the cops. hope you guyz could help me out with some question.
1)could the greddy turbo kit boost over 14.7 psi?
people tell me with an internal wastegate type turbo it can't boost over the atmospheric pressure of 14.7psi.true or false?
2) how reliable is the greddy kit?is it true plug and play or will i be running into lots of problems which make my car unreliable.
3)greddy kit, what is the hp gain on a stock gsr? at what psi?
hope to hear so facts and oppion from you guys. thanks

ok to answer your questions....yes you could run 14 psi (internal wastegate is going to be a bitch to get around) on your motor but you are not going to have a plug and play setup with that much boost. You will need a really good tune and bigger injectors. the blue box that comes with the kit is junk (trust me I know, I lost my motor because of it). with about 14 psi you should be running close to 275-300 hp on your motor. hopefully that covers all of it.

It hasn't come with the bluebox in over a year. The kit comes with the Emanage now which is about 10x better than the bluebox and is much more capable of being tuned.

As for running 14 psi, from what I've read on here, it seems like once you start reaching around 15psi your going to start to get boost creep.

14 lbs. and up but remember its hard wear on the engine if daily driver its over kill you be up in smoke with new tires every 3 weeks as for the waste gate you should be able to replace with different springs that changes the boost they usually goes 0lbs.-5lbs, 6lbs-10lbs.,11lbs-15lbs. this is just an example good luck
