H series trannies is what dragsters use in their rides
so it is possible to mate it....
is like attaching a powerglide tranny to rwd jap engines....

Someone actually makes an adapter plate to bolt a b-series tranny to an H-Series motor...
I forget where I saw it... I'll see if I can dig it up...
