I am looking for someone in Fredericksburg,Woodbridge,Alexandria area to weld some mounting tabs onto an aluminum intercooler for me. maybe 2 on top and 2 on bottom.. sorry didnt have time to edit out rest off the items but intercooler is on top right obviously

wish i could help out but i don't have a TIG welder at the moment.

Did you get them brakets welded on yet? If not, I made some brackets to mount the intercooler in my cousins Tallon. Did it in the same manner that older radiator mounts work- 'h' shaped brakets on top- either side- lined with rubber and used upsidedown 'h' shapes on the bottom. Where the 'n' part of the 'h' is i used a 'c' channel to kinda fit over the welds on each cap( tha c channels where lined with rubber-actaully used the liquid stuff they put on tool handles and then dries) . The 'h' brakets bolted to the radiator support and held the intercooler just fine....might be a lot of work but when i did this one it was sunday, the machine shop wasnt open, and i wanted to have the car running that night, so i just made some myself that cradled the intercooler....just thought i would share that.

im in waldorf MD. i can get to the WW bridge in like 15-20 min. not that bad. do you need brackets made or just welded? either way shoot me a PM if you want to set something up.

 

If you know what you want and where you want them put then I have no problem doing the welding and fabricating if needed I am a day or 2 away ups and can turn it right around for you. if you have the tabs thats fine if not give me a sketch and the location and I'll take it from there do custom intercoolers all the time
